About the author
Doreen Cronin was born in Queens, New York and grew up on Long Island. Ms. Cronin wrote Click, Clack, Moo five years before it was published. In the meantime, she attended law school and became a practicing attorney in Manhattan. Once her book became critically acclaimed, Ms. Cronin gave up the practice of law to pursue her writing full-time. Her other published books include Click, Clack Quackity-Quack; Diary of a Worm; Dooby Dooby Moo; Duck for President; Giggle, Giggle, Quack; and Thump, Quack, Moo : A Wacky Adventure. She attributes her humor to her dad. Ms. Cronin lives in New York with her husband and dog.
Click, Clack, Moo : Cows That Type was awarded a Caldecott Honor in 2001 and was named one of the Best Children's Books 2000 by Publisher's Weekly.
